This is a destination adventure in partnership with UW-Stevens Point’s Becoming an Outdoor Woman Program BOW (Becoming an Outdoors Woman), for a women’s kayak and yoga retreat! On this long weekend spent in beautiful Door County you will have the opportunity to combine paddling with mindfulness (yoga) to help participants focus on living in the moment, which improves mood, reduces stress and anxiety, and results in an overall greater enjoyment of each day. Our professional guides will assist you throughout the trip with paddle skills and share their vast knowledge of the area! This is a trip for any skill set.

Friday, June 9 Noon – Arrive Jackson Harbor Parking Lot 2pm – Intro to Kayaking Skills Workshop 3pm – Paddle to Rock Island 4pm – Arrive Rock Island Campsite 5pm – Group presentation on island site and history 6pm – Dinner – Campsite 7pm – Evening Paddle – Boathouse 9pm – Campfire
Saturday, June 10 8am – Paddlers Breakfast 9am – Paddle to Potawatomi Light House Noon – Shore lunch at the lighthouse 1pm – Paddle back to Campsite 5pm – Dinner – Campsite 7pm – Naturalist Program 9pm – Campfire
Sunday, June 11 8am – Paddlers breakfast 9am – Break Camp 11am – Load personal into kayaks/paddle to Jackson Harbor
