Potawatomi Shipwreck Kayak Tour
Our Potawatomi Shipwreck Tour is a great family fun paddle. This two hour kayaking tour is a great way to get outdoors and get on the water! Launching from Potawatomi State Park shoreline and paddling to Bullhead Point to see some shipwrecks from the early 1900s. You will have to enter a state park meaning a state park pass is necessary. Once past the entrance building continue forward until you meet a T in the road.. Take a right on S. Norway Road. Continue till parking lot number 2. Park there and walk to the water at the accessible fishing pier.
What to know when you book your Shipwreck Tour:
- Safety is our #1 priority. This means all guests will be required to wear a PFD and our guide will instruct a paddle lesson.
- The shipwreck can be visible in calm, clear waters, conditions will vary so viewing the ship is not guaranteed.
- All of our tours traverse in tandem (two person) kayaks.
- Our tour guides are trained to American Canoe Association (ACA) standards.
- Prepare to get a little wet, bring a change of clothes, water shoes, and sunscreen.
- Get ready to have a fun but safe adventure!
