Find Your Balance on the Water with SUP Yoga
Looking for a new way to experience Door County this summer? Our SUP Yoga classes combine the peacefulness of yoga with the beauty of paddleboarding, creating a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience on the water. Whether you’re an experienced yogi, have never stepped on a paddleboard before, or simply want to try something new, SUP Yoga offers a fun and refreshing way to connect with nature.
Join us in Egg Harbor this summer and discover why practicing yoga on the water is an experience you won’t forget.
What is SUP Yoga?
SUP stands for Stand-Up Paddleboard, and SUP Yoga is exactly what it sounds like—practicing yoga on a paddleboard floating on water.
Instead of a traditional yoga studio, your mat becomes your paddleboard. The gentle movement of the water adds a new element of balance while creating a peaceful environment that helps you relax, focus, and enjoy the present moment.
The class is designed for all experience levels. Whether you’re new to yoga, paddleboarding, or both, your instructor will provide guidance every step of the way.
What to Expect
Each SUP Yoga session lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes everything you need for a successful experience.
Your class will begin with a brief introduction covering paddleboarding basics and important safety information. From there, you’ll paddle a short distance to a calm practice area where your instructor will lead approximately 45 minutes of guided yoga.
Throughout class, you’ll move through a variety of seated, kneeling, standing, and prone poses, with modifications available so everyone feels comfortable and supported.
After class, you’ll paddle back to shore feeling refreshed, relaxed, and maybe even a little more adventurous than when you arrived.
No Experience? No Problem!
One of the most common questions we hear is:
“Do I need to know yoga or paddleboarding?”
The answer is no!
SUP Yoga is designed with beginners in mind. Our instructors create a welcoming environment where participants can learn at their own pace. Balance may take a little practice and yes, you might even get your feet wet, but that’s all part of the fun!
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s enjoying the experience, spending time outdoors, and trying something new.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
Dress to get wet! Swimsuits, athletic wear, or synthetic yoga clothing work best. Avoid cotton since it stays wet longer. Sunglasses and hats are welcome, just be sure to secure them so they don’t end up floating away!
Is equipment included?
Yes! Your paddleboard, paddle, personal flotation device (PFD), and all instruction are included with your class.
What if I’ve never paddleboarded before?
That’s perfectly okay! We’ll teach you everything you need to know before heading onto the water.
Can kids participate?
Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. Per U.S. Coast Guard and Wisconsin regulations, life jacket requirements vary by age, and our staff will make sure everyone is properly equipped before heading out.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety always comes first. Classes may be canceled or rescheduled if weather or water conditions are unsafe. Participants will also be notified if the minimum class size isn’t met.
