And just like that, summer is here! At the Door County Adventure Center, we take summer very seriously– for us, it means creating unforgettable experiences and kicking off another season of outdoor excitement. Despite a chilly start, our staff can’t be scared away from having an adventure! Our team went through training and took on some of the most challenging courses in order to be prepared for you! Summer kickoff at Door County Adventure Center has many different adventures to offer. All of our guides are certified and trained from kayaking to ziplining and can’t wait to take you on a thrilling adventure while keeping you safe. Our guides are professionally trained through the American Canoe Association, which is the oldest and largest paddle sports organization in the United States. Our guides routinely inspect all equipment to ensure it’s safe and ready to use. Guides also go through zipline training and are certified by the Association for Challenge Course Technology, which is a premier resource for managing courses. We regularly check courses throughout the season to maintain the highest safety standards.
Egg Harbor Now Open!
Ready to spend the day in the sun? Our Egg Harbor location is now open for the season! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced paddler, our fleet of paddle boards and kayaks is ready for you. Additionally, we offer more than just rentals – snacks, ice cream, and sand toys are available to help you create the perfect beach day. Open daily from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Have you heard of Egg Harbor’s EggStravaganza? Egg Harbor participates in an artistic egg walk placing 34 artist made egg sculptures throughout Egg Harbor. Check it out and see how many of the art sculptures you can find from the Egg Harbor beach!
