Hey Adventurers, I have been a professional adventure guide for over 30 years. I am a ropes course program facilitator, Leadership coach, Functional teamwork facilitator and kayak, paddleboard, climbing, hiking and mountaineering guide. Now I am a off road Segway guide!
I am here in Cedar Creek Texas expanding the Adventure Center business with Off Road Segway Adventure. We offer guided tours at Zip Lost Pines and McKinney Roughs Nature Park in Cedar Creek Texas. In Door County Wisconsin, during the tourist season we offer off road Segway tours on three different trails. Why Texas you ask? Well the Lower Colorado River Authority who owns the land and the trails here in Cedar Creek asked me to become a concessionaire with them to offer these unique tours. We are the only off road Segway tour company in Texas and Wisconsin for that matter.
Being a guide allows me to meet people from various background and geography that want a unique experience. As a guide I am able to provide that with immersion into nature by being on trails that are typically multiuse, however my tours find that we have them all to ourselves.
A Quick Description
Here in Texas we travel over gravel trails with views of ziplines and towers, the Colorado river and wildlife, if it is a morning tour. We have flat terrain and we descend to the river bank and climb back up on the Segway to enjoy the central Texas countryside. Traveling through oak savannah of the lost pines region of central Texas. Featuring the Loblolly Pines (Pinus taeda). My first armadillo on a tour was awesome and I frequently view white-tailed deer, black vultures and numerous songbirds.
I continue to enjoy guiding people on various adventures whether land, water or mountain! I am really finding the off road Segway as another adventurous way to embrace multiuse trails and enjoy the outdoors. Come ride with me and try something new! See ya on the trail!
