Level 2 Ropes Course Instructor, Level 4 ACA Coastal Sea Kayaking Instructor, Certified Zip Line Instructor-Guide, ABEE Inc. Instructor Trainer, Nationally Registered EMT, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Adjunct Faculty Instructor, and Keynote Speaker. Tim earned his Master of Science in Education.

Kaitlynn LePire

Kaitlynn LePire

Operations Coordinator

Hi, My name is Kaitlynn LePire I am currently attending a Yoga Teacher Training. I was born and raised in Door County and I look forward to returning back home and back to the Adventures with Door County Adventure Center. Some of my favorite things to do outside during the summer are biking, swimming, and HIKING!

Spencer Patton

Spencer Patton

Operations Coordinator

Spencer recently graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO with a degree in Adventure Education. He’s been climbing, skiing, and kayaking around Colorado for the past five years, but the Great Lakes have brought him back home. Spencer has a passion for the outdoors and loves to share that passion with others.

Fun fact: “I currently own a 7 year old sulcata tortoise named Alphonso, though he is commonly referred to as “Phonzie or The Phonz!””

Cora just finished her junior year at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She is majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Special Education. Her goal is to go on and get her masters in Occupational Therapy. Cora loves to stay active, going to the gym and the pool. When she’s not at home you can find her on an adventure hiking or by the water.

Emma Kerkman

Emma Kerkman

Zip Line Guide, Kayak Guide & Rentals Associate

Emma goes to college in upstate NY and is pursuing degrees in history, creative writing, and education. Most of her free time is spent wandering around the Adirondacks, either with a backpack on her back or via mountain bike. She’s also been known to climb rocks, snowboard, and kayak the finger lakes. Originally from Wisconsin, Emma spent four years out in Utah, and returned to the Midwest because the lakes are better here. More often than not, Emma can be found writing on her notes app during social gatherings, fighting the mint plants taking over her garden, or trying and failing to water ski.

Julia Piccioni

Julia Piccioni

Julia is a native Californian with lots of love for all things outdoors. She spent last year living in Norway, then joined the California Conservation Corps. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, swimming, and skiing. She is excited to see what Door County is all about!

Mark Vincent

Mark Vincent

Kayak Guide & Rentals Associate

Mark has been hooked on paddling since age six when his older brothers put in a home made kayak. Has paddled to 20 of the 22 Apostle Islands in the last fifteen years. As a ACA level three paddler has guided trips the previous four seasons in the Apostles. A previous career was spent in sales, customer service and helping people obtain goals. When not guiding Mark is with his with his wife, children and six grandchildren. Mark enjoys crafting traditional kayaks and paddles, woodworking, and making sausages.

Rachel White

Rachel White

Marketing Intern & Rentals Associate

Rachel is going to be a senior at UW-Platteville and majoring in Marketing with a minor in Fine Art. She grew up in Waupun Wisconsin and has only visited Door County twice. Rachel’s favorite things are sports, traveling, being outdoors, being at the lake, spending time with family and friends, and country music!

Seth Hanson

Seth just finished his sophomore year at the University of St. Thomas in St Paul. He grew up in Sturgeon Bay and has been exploring Door County since he was two.  He enjoys basketball, frisbee, kayaking and biking.

Grace Maurer

Grace Maurer

Zip Line Guide, Kayak Guide & Rentals Associate

Grace is a current student at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities majoring in Biology, Society, & Environment, but is originally from a town near Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She likes staying active and being outside. Grace enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting the National Parks, eating baked goods, and sleeping.
