Exciting things are happening at Potawatomi State Park this summer! Door County Adventure Center is excited to officially become the new operators of the Potawatomi Park Store starting in 2026. Located right inside Potawatomi State Park near the campground, the store is your new go-to stop for outdoor adventures, rentals, tours, snacks, and camping essentials all summer long.
Whether you’re spending the day exploring the park, heading out on the water, or camping for the weekend, we’re here to help make your experience even better.

Explore Potawatomi State Park with a Tour
Looking for a unique way to experience the park? We now offer several guided tours that allow guests to explore Potawatomi State Park from both land and water.
Lighthouse Kayaking Tour
Join us for a guided kayaking adventure and paddle the waters surrounding Potawatomi State Park while taking in views of the historic Sherwood Point Lighthouse. This two-hour tour is perfect for beginners and experienced paddlers alike, with ACA-trained instruction provided before heading out on the water.
Sunset Kayaking Tour
There’s no better way to end a summer day than watching the sunset from the water. Our guided sunset kayaking tours offer guests the best seat in the house for breathtaking evening views and a relaxing outdoor experience. Tour times vary throughout the season to match the sunset, so guests should call ahead to confirm meeting times.
Segway & E-Bike Tours
Explore the trails and scenic views of Potawatomi State Park on a guided Segway or E-Bike tour. These hour-and-a-half tours are great for both first-time and experienced riders. Before each tour, our guides provide instruction and training to help everyone feel comfortable and confident before heading out on the trails.

Want to explore on your own? We also offer a variety of rentals so guests can experience the park at their own pace.
Bike Rentals
Biking is one of the best ways to explore Potawatomi State Park. We offer bicycle rentals for riders of all ages, with helmets included in every rental. Rentals are available hourly with a one-hour minimum and are rented on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations are required.
Canoe, Kayak & Paddle Board Rentals
Spend the day paddling around Sawyer Harbor and experiencing the beauty of nature from the water. We offer canoe, kayak, and paddle board rentals, with each rental including a paddle and life preserver. Rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis and are perfect for families, groups, or anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors.
Please note that a Wisconsin State Park entrance fee or yearly sticker is required to enter Potawatomi State Park.
More Than Just Adventures
In addition to tours and rentals, the Potawatomi Park Store also carries many of the essentials you may need during your visit. Guests can stop in for camping supplies, snacks, ice cream treats, firewood, beer, wine, and more – all conveniently located right inside the park.
