This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Team Leadership Center. The Team Leadership Center has been a journey that began with our founder and president, Tim Pflieger. It all started with him one day walking outside with an idea. Since then, the big green barn has served as the headquarters for Door County Adventure Center, where he is enthusiastic about facilitating team-building experiences unlike any other.
Uniqueness 
Serving a variety of groups in size, age, and culture; the Team Leadership Center has many unforgettable ways to challenge the groups that step on site. From kayaks, Segways, climbing walls, rope courses, exercises, and even the leap of faith – there is no doubt that any team that is open to challenge and growth will be able to experience so on a whole new level!
Purpose 
The team activities at the Team Leadership Center are all centered around a purpose. When traditional icebreakers don’t cut it, the Team Leadership Center comes in. We present challenges that take effort, critical thinking, and communication BUT there is never a single way to complete these tasks. There is always another way to success and growth. Learn to be confident in your personal growth; we want people to take that philosophy into their daily lives after we complete a program together!
Challenge 
Our programs for senior leaders combine challenging activities like zip lining and low ropes courses with targeted leadership development modules. Although you may not come across a zip line that challenges you in the workplace, invaluable lessons can be learned through challenges presented to the teams through unique circumstances such as a zip line or ropes course. When leaders and team members can embrace the challenges in our programming, it can help them to embrace challenges in other areas as well. Learning to embrace challenges can promote growth within individuals.
