2020 Employment Opportunities
We are looking for individuals who love to work outdoors! As an Adventure Guide your duties can include kayak tours, zip line tours and ropes course programs. You will also assist with kayak and paddle board rentals.
Additionally, we offer summer internship positions so if you are in a college program that could be a good fit for an internship with us, just ask! We’re happy to customize one just for you! While in an Adventure Guide role you could have the opportunity to manage and oversee various operations. Therefore, it is a great opportunity for college students majoring in tourism management, environmental studies, communications, as well as business!
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who share our love for outdoor education, recreation, and fun! While preference is given to people who have these qualities as well as experience with adventure sports, camping, teaching, and/or facilitating groups, don’t let it stop you from applying! Looking for a fun and unique experience in the business and marketing fields? Look no further, Door County Adventure Center offers paid internships and seasonal positions! In these roles you’ll have the opportunity to learn website management, produce monthly newsletters as well as daily blog updates, while also overseeing social media, customer service, and supervision of financial transactions/deposits. This is certainly a great way to gain marketing experience in the tourism and customer service industry while enjoying the beauty of living in Door County. How it works
Our interview process has begun, with final decisions typically made by the beginning of April. Currently, we have 20 positions available for our 2020 season and are accepting applications today! Additionally, Zip Line and Ropes Course training/certifications will be obtained on-site during the month of May as well as multiple days of kayak training; all guides must attend the multi-day ACA Coastal Day Trip Leader Training on-site.
